New National Quality Forum Report for Hospice Released!

The National Quality Forum (NQF) has released the National Framework and Preferred Practices for Palliative and Hospice Care. This report describes quality domains and endorses standards of care that will serve as the basis for the definition of hospice quality measures for national comparison and public reporting.

The OCS PeerForum incorporates performance measures, improvement processes and education to help hospices take advantage of this important new initiative.

For more information, you may download a one-page summary of the project and the Executive Summary of the full report. If you want to read the full report, you may order it from NQF.
