The 2007 OCS Summit Goes On the Road!

In order to better meet the needs of the industry, and
in response to requests from our clients, we are
excited to announce that the 2007 OCS Summit is
going on the road!
This annual gathering of industry leaders will be held
in Denver,
Colorado this year, just prior to the
2007 NAHC Annual
Meeting.
On Saturday, October 6,
2007, at the Colorado History Museum,
OCS clients, industry leaders and invited guests will
come together for a one-day learning intensive
program focused on helping your agency achieve
results that demonstrate the value of Home Care and
Hospice.
Our sessions will be led by nationally recognized
leaders and feature information from providers who
have been successful in driving positive change for
their agency. The sessions will support CEU credits.
Following the intensive learning sessions, please join
OCS
and your colleagues for a wonderful wine reception,
where you can continue your discussions with fellow
attendees, in a casual setting.

PPS Impact™ Web Conference
|
|
|
In an effort to help you fully understand and assess
the impact the proposed Home Health PPS
refinement rule, released on Friday April 27th, will have
on your agency, we have created a series of web
conferences to help you understand the details of the
changes and to help you learn how you can thrive in
the new payment system.
The first in the series of web conferences, The Proposed PPS Rule and What it
Means to Your Agency, took place on
May 24th. This
session reviewed the details of the proposed rule and
reviewed comparative examples on how
reimbursement will change for different agencies.
The second web conference in the series, The Proposed PPS Rule and
Strategies for Agency Success, will take
place on Tuesday, May
29th and again on
Wednesday, June 6,
2007 at 10am
PDT/1pm EDT.
This session will cover more details of how the
proposed rule will impact agencies, looking at
therapy, diagnosis and other factors. Then the
session will highlight operational, clinical and
financial strategies for agencies success in these
changing times.
